Sotirios will work under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dimitrios Karpouzas and will have the pleasure of collaborating with internationally reputable researchers during his EMIGRATE experience.
The project work will be shared among the laboratories of:
- the Plant and Environmental Biotechnology of the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology of the University of Thessaly (Larissa, Greece – PI, Assoc. Prof. Dimitris Karpouzas)
- the Department of Environmental Microbiology of the Helmoltz Centre for Environmental Research (Leipzig, Germany – collaboration with Dr. Antonis Chatzinotas)
- AEIFORIA, a spin-off company of the Institute of the Agricultural and Environmental Chemistry of the Universitá Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Piacenza, Italy – collaboration with Dr. Luigi Lucini and Dr. Federico Ferrari)
- Department of Environmental Engineering of the Democritus University of Thrace (Xanthi, Greece – collaboration with Dr. Spyridon Ntougias)
